Unique collection of nearly all invasive Streptococcus pneumoniae (pneumococcus) isolates from adults and children collected from 1983 thru 2012 and all characterized as to serotype and antibiotic susceptibility and some characterized by analysis of the pbp2b gene.. Several publications describe completed research studies. Contact investigator with interest in collaborative research projects utilizing some or all of these isolates.
