Chemibank is a pipeline for early drug discovery open to all UCL and UCL associated Institutes.
Projects start with target assessment, bioinformatics and virtual screening through to biological assay/screening (manual and automated) and hit assessment and onwards to lead development.
Collaborations can include any subset of these modules. Chemibank's resource of small molecule libraries include a 30000 Ro5 diverse set, a 500 Ro3 fragment set, 1500 clinical collection, 300 channel selectives, plus a collection of unique scaffolds from the Department of Chemistry and the Wolfson Medicinal Chemistry labs.
Chemibank has been active for just over a year and in that time we have assessed 14 projects: 2 are completed, 4 are active, 6 have been submitted for grant applications, 2 are work in progress.
If you would like to talk about possible collaborations or technology issues in which we could help you or indeed you could help us then please contact Paul Gane at UCL email@example.com or visit the website http://ucl.ac.uk/chemibank.
